Nicole Dixon

I layer mixed-media to create archetypes of/for Black identity and empowerment. My work is intersectional, weaving together art/alchemy, knowledge/pedagogy, archaeology/archivism. Art is my vehicle for self-actualization, community bridge building, and positive social change.

As an artist and educator, I speak, teach and facilitate from the nexus of identity, artistic expression, social justice, spirituality, and empowerment. I tailor my offerings to a myriad of event themes and to the age range of audience members (as young as 3 years old). I’ve given keynote addresses, artist talks, art and/or empowerment workshops, and developed curriculums around diverse cultural topics.
